About This Course

Dr. Bhaskar Pal

DGO , MD (Bom),DNBE, FICOGFRCOG Senior Consultant Gynecologist
Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, Kolkata, Chairperson - AICC- RCOG

Dr. Bhaskar Pal is the chair of AICC- RCOG and is a highly experienced Obstetrician and Gynecologist with 24 years of expertise in the field. He currently practices at Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals in Kolkata. Dr. Pal holds an impressive educational background, including degrees such as MBBS, DGO, MD, DNBE (Obs and Gynae), MRCOG, FICOG, and FRCOG. He received a letter of commendation from the President of The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists for his exceptional performance in the MRCOG Part II Examination in 1998. Dr. Pal is an active member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and has made valuable contributions to research and publications. With a career spanning prestigious institutions in India and the United Kingdom, Dr. Bhaskar Pal brings extensive knowledge and expertise to his role as a Senior Consultant Gynaecologist at Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals, Kolkata.

Prof . Dr. George Griesinger

Prof. Dr. Georg Griesinger is a full Professor at Luebeck University and chair at the Department of Gynecological Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine, University Hospital of Schleswig-Holstein, Luebeck, Germany. He trained at the University of Vienna, where he worked in trophoblast research for his MD thesis at the Department of Obstetrics, and then did postdoctoral studies at University College London, where he obtained an MSc in prenatal genetics and fetal medicine. His PhD was on ovarian stimulation for IVF using GnRH-antagonists. His research interests include the endocrinology of ovarian stimulation, evidence-based medicine in reproductive health care, epidemiological studies in IVF, and basic aspects of folliculogenesis and cryopreservation of human ovarian tissue. He has been an Associate Editor for Human Reproduction 2008-2012, for Fertility and Sterility 2010-2012, and for the British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2013-2016. He is currently section editor for Reproductive Biomedicine Online and editor in-chief at Gynaekologische Endokrinologie. He is also member of the Cochrane menstrual disorder and subfertility group. As of 2012, Georg Griesinger serves as a Visiting Professor at the Dubrovnik International University in Croatia and is a member of the WHO Infertility guidelines group. Furthermore, he is past coordinator of the special interest group REPRODUCTIVE ENDOCRINOLOGY of the ESHRE and serves on the Executive Committee of the ESHRE as of 2013.
